Terms of Service

Bemidji Ruck Club (“BRC”) provides a community website and related tools for group outings, shared progress and communication. Questions about the service can be sent to bemidjiruckclub@gmail.com.

Membership and accounts

Creating a login does not grant membership automatically. A club administrator must approve a membership request before member-only content becomes available. Keep your sign-in details secure and use accurate account information. BRC may suspend access when needed for club safety, moderation or misuse of the service.

Participating in rucks

Rucking and outdoor exercise involve physical risks, including terrain, traffic, weather, fatigue and injury. Participate voluntarily, choose appropriate equipment and activity levels, and follow local laws and outing guidance. GPS distance, duration and energy calculations are estimates and may be affected by reception or device limitations; the app is not a substitute for judgment about safety.

Mileage, milestones and awards

Personal and solo activities are not automatically qualifying club mileage. Club credit, historical verification, milestone eligibility and physical reward handoffs follow the club rules in effect and administrator review where applicable. A digital milestone or nickname does not by itself confirm that a physical reward has been distributed.

Community conduct

Use member messages, photos and activity-sharing features respectfully. Do not harass people, impersonate others, share material you do not have a right to share, or deliberately falsify ruck records. Administrators can review reports and remove inappropriate material or restrict access.

Privacy and visibility

Approved members may see shared activity and profile information; sharing location routes can disclose sensitive places. Review your activity-sharing choices and Privacy Policy before using location recording or uploading content.

Availability and changes

BRC is a volunteer-focused club service under active development. Features may change and occasional outages or GPS inaccuracies may occur. These terms may be updated as the app develops; the current version will be posted here.
