Nobody
carries
alone.
You don't have to be fast. You don't have to be experienced. You just have to show up. We're a community that moves forward together, one step at a time.

A little more than a walk.
Rucking is simple: go for a walk, optionally carry some weight, and get stronger along the way. But Bemidji Ruck Club is about something bigger than mileage.
We believe that showing up for one another matters. Whether you're carrying a heavy pack or having a heavy week, there's room for you in this crew.
Here's how to join usWe move together.
No one gets left behind. The point is to finish together, not to finish first.
Weight is optional.
Come with a rucksack, a daypack, or nothing at all. There's no equipment requirement.
Belonging is earned by showing up.
Newcomers, experienced ruckers, and everyone in between are welcome.
Nobody carries alone.
Connection, encouragement, and consistent steps build the kind of crew that lasts.
See you Saturday.
There's no application to fill out before your first walk. Just come meet us at the statues and get moving.
FRIENDLY
One trail.
One crew.
A place to belong.
First time? You're in the right place.
We remember what it feels like to show up somewhere new. Here are the things people usually ask.
What exactly is rucking?
Rucking is walking with a backpack, often with some weight in it. You can start with an empty pack—or no pack at all. At BRC, the community matters more than the load.
Do I need to be in great shape?
Not at all. Our regular Saturday route is about three miles on a mostly flat trail. We move together and look out for one another. Wear comfortable shoes and work at a pace that is right for you.
Do I need a special backpack or weights?
No. Bring a comfortable backpack if you have one, but weight is completely optional. There is no required gear and no minimum pack weight.
Does it cost anything?
No. Club rucks and membership in Bemidji Ruck Club are free. You do not have to purchase equipment or pay to earn club milestones.
Can I just show up?
Yes. The Saturday meetup is a great way to get to know the club before signing up for the member Clubhouse. Come a few minutes early to meet the group.
Why create a Clubhouse account?
Approved members can RSVP to club events, stay connected in crew chat, track qualifying miles, see achievements and use other BRC tools. Accounts are free and need administrator approval.
Ready to join the crew?
Come to a Saturday ruck first, or request free Clubhouse membership to RSVP, track your progress, and stay connected. New accounts are reviewed by a club administrator.
